We'll try to not overwhelm you with all our pictures. Here is a link to some of the best from our visits to the Musées d'Orsay, Moyen Age, and Picasso, and the following churches: Notre Dame, St. Sulpice and St. Severin.

Today, I was able to adequately describe to a french pharmacist my desperate need for an effervescent foot bath balm. It felt so good to soak my aching, sore feet.
We found an area in the city where the food is inexpensive, albeit not authentic - at least there you can get a coke for 2 Euros and not 6 Euros (yikes!)
Tomorrow we tackle the Louvre. We found podcasts on the Rick Steve's website that we have downloaded to our MP3s. Very cool!

You seem to have got everything else ready for your trip....did noone advise you to get your feet in shape by walking continuously for a minimum of 10 hours per day? Good luck tomorrow at the Louvre.

If you're not art galleried out, the Musee d'Art Moderne in the Palais de Tokyo has a little cafe/ cafeteria with a terrace that has an view of the Eiffel Tower etc. and it's nowhere near as expensive as the commercial cafes in that area.
Red house wine is cheaper that Coke in france, as is coffee. The water is okay, so just go for a carafe rather than bottled water in restaurants.
